The Big Picture

The DCEU used end-credit scenes to introduce several plot points that will never be continued, resulting in wasted potential.
The end-credit scenes in films like Suicide Squad, Justice League, Shazam!, and Wonder Woman 1984 set up conflicts and characters that were never followed up on.
Despite the excitement generated by certain end-credit scenes, such as Henry Cavill's return as Superman in Black Adam, these scenes ultimately led to disappointment as they did not result in any further storylines.
