About Jasmine Roberts
Jasmine is firmly on the dark side of the Force. She would be on Magneto's team, would do well in the Mirror Universe, and would have helped the fracking Cylons. What can we say? She is no Jedi. She is, however, a writer! Jasmine has written for Looper, WhatCulture, and The Mary Sue to name a few.
Jasmine grew up in a Sci-Fi household, as both her parents introduced her to “space, the final frontier” at a very young age. She believes that the story of Anakin Skywalker is a tragedy and named her cat Ahsoka after her favorite Star Wars character. She can often be found fangirling over trailer releases and truly believes that she should be an honest-to-goodness Disney princess.
She has interviewed celebrities (such as Jake Gyllenhaal) and was featured in an editorial photoshoot with ELLE Canada! Jasmine once hosted an event with Tracy Moore from CityLine sponsored by Twitter. While she does enjoy interviewing and meeting new people, Jasmine is most comfortable writing behind the scenes to crack the most interesting news story first.Latest Articles
