About Aled Owen
Aled Owen is a writer and filmmaker born in Carmarthen, Wales. He acted onstage from a young age and even won 3rd place in 2012's 'Britain's Got Talent' as part of Only Boys Aloud, a traditional Welsh male voice choir. Since then, Aled studied at the Carmarthen School of Art and later at the Northern Film School, Leeds Beckett University. There, he graduated with a BA and First Class Honors in Filmmaking, having specialized in Screenwriting. His short stories have been published by various online literary publishers such as Storgy and Call Me [Brackets]. He was worked in the film industry since 2019, with credits ranging from the Alec Baldwin movie 97 Minutes to the Timothy Spall film Bolan's Shoes. In 2021, he established his production company Melyn Pictures and produced his first feature film as Writer-Director, Scopophobia.
