Another year, another set of horror films snubbed first by the Golden Globes and now by the Academy Awards. Much to the baffled dismay of horror fans, the excellence in all disciplines of filmmaking that the genre presents in abundance is set to go unrecognized yet again on "Hollywood's Biggest Night." While the genre has had some films sneak into the Oscars over the years, the vast majority of horror magnificence has been either ignored or actively shunned.
